“Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.”Education is about gaining the knowledge and the skills needed to become a better person and create a better society to live in. One of the other many benefits of education is that it can broaden a student’s horizons, helping them understand more about other cultures and corners of the world beyond the school door.

Education plays an important role in enabling a person to face a real-life situation with adequate knowledge. Keeping in mind this aspect of education we understand that what we sow today, we reap tomorrow and often with dividend or profit. If we have sown bad seed or neglected them after planting the saplings, then the result may prove disappointing. And the plants will not be able to sustain themselves. Fresh air, water and good soil make the plants strong and sturdy.

Similarly, the manure of love, care and understanding will nourish the little children and train them to become worthy citizens of the country and of the world. The ultimate aim of our educational institutions is to mold the students to have perfect mindset and mind formation which in turn become a morally upright personality to face the modern challenges of the modern society along with its cultural heritage.Through the field of Education, Sisters of Charity gives training for the growth of truth and love in people, foster moral values with a right conscience. Also, they educate the young minds to become God’s children with responsibility, patriotism, religious harmony, universal brotherhood, and power of discernment. They specially take care of the poor children who have not received even elementary education and have been neglected by the society.
